Oh, how neat! I actually haven't been there before, but I am going this year also! :D When are you going? I'm going May 30. Not much of a chance we'll be going to the same one. :/ I first heard about it from a friend, then I went to a Worldview Weekend and Dr. Noebel and Mark Cahill spoke, and I was like, "I have to go!" My parents have been very kind in helping me pay for it, and I am *so* excited!

Wow, I just looked through your journal, and it looks like we have a lot in common. Also, I recognized some of the people on your friends list like Gretchen and Skye. I don't know then personally, but they are very good friends with another good friend of mine. That make sense? ;)

Uh, just a very random question, you wouldn't have happened to write in a magazine called HopeChest? While I was reading your bio, it seemed familiar, and somehow it seems like I've seen you in Hopechest before (?).

By the way, your journal colors are lovely, and I just read Jonas and Amy's love story. ::happy sigh:: How lovely! :)

Where exactly do you live in Iowa? My Mom grew up in Fort Dodge (we are going there to visit at the end of this month). I love Iowa with all the corn fields, and barns. :)

Why thank you for replying to my post! It was such fun hearing from you!!

So you have heard my name? Well I got HopeChest for many years (haven't gotten it in the past 2 years), but have had a few things published in there before. I get a bunch of other magazines and am in them every now and then. My I'm thinking this is a small world. Yes, it seems like everybody knows Skye or Gretchen :)... popular ladies they are.

Oh how cool that you are going to Summit this year... yay for you! Ah, but I will be a student from June 27th to July 9th.

Aww, glad you liked Jonas' and Amy's love story... God is amazing! They are actually expecting their first child the end of August.... I will be an Aunt. yay!

I live in Southern Iowa... 5 miles from Lake Rathbun. :) Will you be coming through the southern part of Iowa on your way to Fort Dodge?

Yes, actually, we live in Kansas City, Missouri, so we pass through Des Moines on our way to Fort Dodge. Actually, I was just telling my parents about you and your family, and they both thought it would be neat if we could swing your way when we go to Iowa, but then after looking through our schedule, we thought that might be a little crazy, but maybe another time! (?) :D

I have 3 siblings (this seems small compared to your family!). I have a sister, Hannah (15) (piratelassie), a brother Elijah (10), and another sister, Esther (9).

As to you adding me to your friends list--I'd be delighted if you did! And I shall add you as well! I will tell you though, we (my family) tend to be rather picky when it comes to having friendships online (especially with people we don't know). We just want to make sure that the people we befriend online are sound (if you know what I mean). Sometimes it's hard to tell if someone is RLDS or in some cult or something! Please don't take that as an offence! My parents just want to protect us, and this is part of that. But to assure you----we are not paranoid. Sorry if it sound that way. Sometimes I find it hard to communicate online because it's easier to misunderstand someone since it's hard to put feelings, tone of voice, etc. into writing. I hope you'll understand! ;)

Well, I must get ready for bed now! I am very excited about getting to know you!

I will warn you though-- I don't do very well at writing about "life" things(what goes on in my day, etc.). I absolutely love writing about spiritual things (and my spiritual life). Hope you don't mind that. ;) I am a poet and writer at heart, though often my hand and brain are so stiff, I can't get words out (writers block), so I'm afraid I don't post very often. :) If you are wanting more lighthearted posts, read my dear sister Hannah's (piratelassie) posts. She is a goofball (more in real life then online) and has a much more enjoyable journal then I (though she does write about Lord of the Rings too much!). :)

It was good to hear from you. Yes, what a bummer we won't be going to Summit the same session. But as I hear the first two sessions have the most homeschoolers, so you may be in luck girly :).
